Happy Hour Yacht Shopping #5 – FAMILY EDITION!

One of the biggest questions we get about our Great Loop adventure is “What boat are you going to use?” We currently own 3 different boats: two antique runabouts and a cabin cruiser. Our cruiser is just too small (and not to mention it’s in Portland, Oregon which is nowhere near the Great Loop).
We need to go yacht shopping! I love looking at boat listings for old boats. Mrs. onFIREfamily maybe not so much but her input is insanely valuable. That’s why we thought it would be fun to have a good time with this and once a week, review a loop-capable boat listing over a couple beers and share the video with you!
This week is special, though. In this edition, we invite the kids to join us and look at not one but TWO worthy boats for our grand adventure: A 1989 Oceania 42 and a 1989 Chris Craft 501 Motor Yacht you may recognize from a previous video. The dog even joins us for this one!
